My dear moon, oh how I love you. You are my comfort in the night, and my dreams in the day. We fit like perfect puzzle pieces and even if I hate to admit it, you've turned me into a cliche loving hopeless romantic. This page is for you, it's for us, a space where you can always go and remind yourself just how special you are to me. You were special to me the moment I met you, we had a connection that I'm not sure I've ever felt before. I fell in love with you gradually and then all at once, and then over and over again everyday in new ways. You feel like an old friend, a new crush, a soulmate, a best friend, a husband, you feel like the exact person I am supposed to be with. I love you, endlessly and always,
Sincerely, Your Sunshine.
she was her mother's sunflower..

Most would view a child being born on Friday the 13th as a curse of some kind, but not Scout's mother.
"It's a blessed day!" her mother would exclaim as she twirled her daughter in the air whenever the day was coming up, "It's only a cursed day if you've got a cursed heart, my dear."
Scout never had a normal childhood, her mother was a kind woman, and loved Scout with her whole heart, but she wasn't always a stable woman. Never having a permanent home, her mother tried to tell her they were their own little wandering tribe, but motels and makeshift tents didn't really make Scout feel like she was on a mystical adventure like her mother said.
Early on in her life Scout developed a love of acting, it was something she had to do to survive, pretend to be happy so mom doesn't have a meltdown, pretend to have a question for the store clerk so he doesn't notice mom stealing, pretend everything is okay when social services starts asking questions...
But Scout told herself when she grew up she was going to act and make art for herself and no one else. So the day her mother died, Scout took her ring to the pawn shop and bought a plane ticket with the cash she got from it.
The first few months she couch surfed, auditioning for whatever roles she could find. She picked up part time jobs, bartender, waitress, stripper, whatever job would enable her to pursue her dream while also paying at least some of the bills.
She is still working to get her foot in the door of Hollywood, but she's not at all ready to give up yet.
LA hasn't been easy, but when has it ever?
